FoliesApp takes the protection of its users' and players' personal data very seriously. This policy describes the data collected, its purposes, recipients, and your rights, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

2. Data collected on foliesapp.com
The site foliesapp.com is a static showcase site. No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics, no data collection forms are in place on the site itself.
If you write to folieslandpro@gmail.com, your email address and message content are kept for the time required to process your request.
3. Data collected in the Animic game
The game Animic and other FoliesApp games may collect the following data to function and improve:
- Nickname / display name: to identify you in-game
- Game statistics: level, progression, scores, matches played
- In-app purchase history: for microtransactions and unlocked content (DLC, cosmetics, battle pass)
- Anonymized technical data: via GameAnalytics — crash reports, session length, performance metrics, gameplay events (no direct personal identifier)
- Platform identifiers: Steam ID, Apple ID or Google Play ID, depending on the platform you play on
Purposes
- Run the game (saves, multiplayer, leaderboards)
- Improve balancing and fix bugs (anonymized analytics)
- Manage in-app purchases and unlocked content
- Fight cheating and abuse
Legal bases
- Contract performance: for data necessary to run the game and process purchases
- Legitimate interest: for anonymized analytics aimed at improving the game
4. Processors and recipients
Your data may be processed by the following processors, strictly within the scope of their mission:
- OVH (site and game API hosting), France/EU
- Steam (Valve): PC distribution, Steam purchase processing, United States (Privacy Shield / standard contractual clauses)
- Apple App Store and Google Play: mobile distribution, in-app purchase processing
- GameAnalytics: anonymized game analytics, Denmark (EU)
No data is resold to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Retention period
- Player account and progression: kept as long as the account is active. Deletion on request at folieslandpro@gmail.com, or after 3 years of inactivity.
- Purchase history: 10 years, in accordance with accounting obligations.
- Email exchanges: 3 years from the last contact.
- Anonymized analytics: duration set by GameAnalytics (usually rolling 2 years).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:
- Right of access: know what data we hold about you
- Right of rectification: correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure: request deletion of your account and your data
- Right to portability: get your data back in a structured format
- Right to object and restrict: limit certain processing operations
- Right to lodge a complaint: under GDPR Article 77, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).
